One of the best I ever witnessed was during online classes in 2022, a student replaced their Zoom background with looping video of themselves nodding and looking attentive. The real person dipped for like 20 minutes. The professor only realized something was off when the “video student” kept nodding at the exact same moment every loop

I once convinced my roommate our uni was switching to a mandatory uniform policy by faking an email from the dean — he legit ordered khakis and a polo before I confessed. I felt bad for like five minutes… but the look on his face when I said “April Fools” was priceless

I once printed fake “Out of Service” signs and stuck them on every elevator in the dorms during move-in week. Watching people struggle with stairs and giant IKEA boxes… chef’s kiss

Once convinced my roommate our apartment was being “inspected for ghost activity.” Made a fake flyer, staged some EMF meter screenshots, and played weird sounds at night from a Bluetooth speaker in the hallway. Dude slept with the lights on for two nights before I finally told him it was a prank. Still refuses to believe the apartment isn’t haunted though:ghost:
