The most ridiculous moment when you had to pretend it was meant to be?
Stumbled but kept walking as if you were dancing? Sent a text to the wrong person and tried to play it off as a joke?
One time, I accidentally walked into the wrong classroom for an exam, but instead of leaving, I sat down and acted like I belonged. The professor handed out the test, so I started working on it like a normal student… about ten minutes in I realized I didn’t recognize a single topic on the page.
I quietly packed up my stuff, nodded like “yep, finished early,” and walked out. Still have no idea if the professor knew.
Went for a handshake, my friend went for a fist bump. Ended up gently holding his fist like we were about to say our wedding vows. Still haunts me.![]()
Once waved at one person not actually waving at me — so just turned it into an enthusiastic stretch. Another time, I totally tripped on nothing, fell, and immediately started tying my shoe like that was the plan all along… except I was wearing slip-ons.
People definitely knew, but at that point you just commit to the bit.
Was running late for a meeting, rushed through the office doors, and confidently waved at my boss - only to realize it was just my reflection in the glass. ![]()
Kept walking like I totally meant to greet… myself. No hesitation, just pure commitment.
At the interview, I was asked a question that I didn’t know the answer to at all. Instead of panicking, I confidently said: “That’s a great question! How would you solve it yourself?”
The interviewer paused for a second, laughed, and actually explained the answer. Somehow it turned into a good conversation instead of an awkward moment.
