ooohh most “easy ways to make money in college” lists are useless, this is what I actually saw people doing
Dorm flipping/reselling — they buy cheap goods from Walmart or Marketplace and sell them in the dorms, especially during the first weeks when everyone just moved in and doesn’t wanna go anywhere
Here’s what I’ve seen that actually works:
Moving-in/moving-out. It’s just helping carry boxes at the beginning and end of semester. Sounds dumb but people pay 20–40$ an hour cash and you don’t need anything
Club content. Taking pics/videos for clubs, frats, small events. One job doesn’t pay much, but if you get a few groups it turns into steady money
Event stuff through connections - this one I got into kinda randomly
A guy from my class texted me like “hey we need extra hands for a frat event, you in?” I showed up not really knowing what to expect. We were just setting up stuff, checking people at the door, sweeping up after. Nothing official, just a group chat where they drop “who’s free tonight”
First time I made around 80$ for a few hours. Later it was more like 100-150$, especially if it ran late. And the best part - once you’re in that circle, people just kep hitting you up, you don’t even need to chase after work anymore
