I’ve been flipping used textbooks on Facebook Marketplace + eBay. Bought a few cheap from students moving out in May, reselling them now that incoming freshmen are hunting deals.

The trick is checking which editions professors actually require for the next semester. If you grab the right ones early, they sell pretty fast once August rolls around.

I also suggest you try your hand at being an office assistant/office manager. Offices often hire students to do cleaning and routine office work!

I do subtitling for YouTube videos and podcasts. It’s not super glamorous, but it’s stable and can be combined with vaporware. Plus it really improves your hearing and English
