🎓 My experience at DeVry University (not sugarcoated)

I did 2 years at DeVry before transferring out, so here’s the honest tea:

Flexibility was great online and hybrid options helped me work full-time.

Professors were hit or miss. Some really cared, some just read off slides and disappeared after class.

Tuition was the biggest reality check. It adds up fast, and when I started looking into transferring, not all credits moved cleanly. That was frustrating.

Career services were okay resume help, job boards, basic support - but you still have to hustle hard yourself.

Would I say it’s terrible? No. Would I say it’s perfect? Also no. It works if you need flexibility and you’re self-motivated, but you really have to think long-term about cost and transfer options

Appreciate the real talk :raising_hands: That actually lines up with what I’ve heard andd DeVry works if you treat it like a stepping stone or need max flexibility, but the transfer-credit headache + price tag can be rough if you don’t plan ahead. It’s definitely not a “set it and forget it” type of school

I’m also at DeVry, and I can totally relate about the professors - some are amazing and actually care, while others just stick to reading slides. I’m on my 3rd year in the IT program
