I’m into game design and media, and their programs look
on paper. But I’ve seen mixed reviews about post-grad job placement. Anyone here gone there or know grads?
I’ve got a cousin who went for game art - he said it’s intense and super hands-on, but the tuition hit hard. He landed a job eventually, but not through Full Sail connections - it was his portfolio that really carried him. From what he told me, the program gives you tools and projects, but you still have to grind a lot outside class if you want to stand out.
I know two grads from their game dev program. One landed a QA job fast, the other struggled for a year. The degree helps if you already hustle hard on the side - portfolio > diploma in this field. Studios care way more about what you’ve actually built than where the degree came from.
I toured, loved the vibe, but ended up not enrolling. It’s intense (accelerated programs = less downtime) and $$$ ![]()
