I’ve been applying to part-time gigs lately and realized not everything on Indeed is legit. Some listings look polished, normal pay range, basic responsibilities… and then things get weird fast.
If a job replies instantly, asks for personal info before an interview, or wants you to move the convo off-platform right away… pause. There are real jobs on Indeed, but there are also scammers fishing for students who just need money.
Stay sharp out there.
Fr bro. I once applied to this “remote assistant” job on Indeed… looked super chill, like basic email and scheduling stuff. Got a response in like 20 mins (red flag #1), dude asked me to download Telegram to “continue the interview” (red flag #2).
Then he started talking about sending me a check to “buy office equipment” and asked for my bank info. That’s when I dipped.
If they ask for money, crypto, gift cards, or banking details before you even sign paperwork — run. Real employers don’t do that.
