Basically “hey, do work for me”. \nThey said yes, but the letter was super generic. Like you could swap my name with anyone else and it would still work. Pretty sure it took them 10 minutes. \nProblem was obvious after. I made them guess everything. Who I am, what I did, why it matters. \nSecond time I actually thought about it. \nI wrote something like: \n“Hi, I’m applying to X program. I really liked your class, especially the project on ___, and it pushed me towards this direction. Would you be open to writing me a recommendation? I added a short doc with what I worked on and my resume to make it easier.” \nAnd yeah, I attached a small file with конкретные things I did.
